Jason Flansburg is the Co-Head Manager for the George Mason University women’s basketball program. A junior majoring in sport management with a minor in communications, Flansburg is entering his second year with the team, and now plays a key role in the daily operations of the Patriots, supervising and mentoring the student-manager team while overseeing practice equipment set-up, bench organization, and gameday logistics to ensure a professional and efficient environment.
A native of Washington, D.C., Flansburg graduated from Lake Braddock Secondary School in 2023. Though from just down the street from Fairfax, his family roots stretch far—his mother, Agata, is from Poland, and his father, Rick, is from Montana. He also has a sister, Kristina, who lives in Richmond, Va., and a dog named Nikki.
Outside of basketball, Flansburg is a dedicated movie and music enthusiast with a growing collection of CDs and DVDs. He enjoys exploring thrift stores for hidden gems, tracking the films he watches, and curating a display of his favorite albums. A lifelong basketball fan and proud Washington Wizards supporter, he also follows football and baseball.
