Gardner Meeks enters his first season on the coaching staff for the 2026 season after being a dependable relief pitcher in the 2025 campaign. He worked 55.2 innings over 26 appearances last season with a 3.23 ERA and earned Atlantic 10 All-Conference Academic honors in his one-year stint with the Patriots.
 
Prior to joining the Patriots, Meeks attended Roanoke College.  During the 2023 season, he was selected Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) Second Team Reliever and was a two-time PGCBL Pitcher of the Week.
