Corey Sigler is the department’s head strength and conditioning coordinator.
Sigler, who has served as Mason’s assistant strength and conditioning coach since March, 2021, has directed the strength and conditioning programs for men’s and women’s soccer, lacrosse, and wrestling. Sigler also played an instrumental role in overseeing the strength and conditioning programs for a pair A-10 conference champions: baseball and softball.
Prior to Joining Mason, Sigler worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach with University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (2020-21) overseeing six athletic programs. He also served in roles at George Washington University, Georgetown University, USRowing, and Marquette University - working with a variety of different athletic programs. Additionally, Sigler also worked in the area of strength and conditioning in the both the high school level and private sector.
Sigler earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in kinesiology in 2015. As an undergraduate, he was a four-time letterwinner with the football program. Most recently, Sigler earned a master of science degree at George Washington in exercise and nutrition in May, 2020. Sigler also holds a number of impressive certifications with Precision Nutrition Level 1, National Strength and Conditioning Association,Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Associations, USA Weightlifting and American Red Cross.
