Cason Gardner is in his second year on the George Mason Coaching staff. He works with the Jumps and Combined event groups.
Gardner was a member of the George Mason team from 2019-2023 where he found success in the Decathlon and Heptathlon. He was a 5 time A-10 Champion in the multi (2 Dec, 3 Hep), A-10 Conference Record Holder in the Decathlon, NCAA East Qualifier in the High Jump, 10x A-10 All-Conference, 2019 George Mason Rookie of the Year, 2019 A-10 Indoor Rookie of the Year, and two time Team Champion. In 2024 Cason medaled at the USA National Combined Events Championships in the heptathlon.
Originally from Mechanicsville, Virginia, Gardner moved north to earn his Undergraduate degree from George Mason in Public Health in 2022, and his Masters degree in Business Management which he completed in July 2023.
