2025-26 (Freshman – 141): Served as George Mason’s starter at 141 pounds during his true freshman season… Placed sixth at the MAC Championships, earning three victories during his conference tournament debut… Opened the MAC Championships with a 24-6 technical fall over Clarion’s Scott Johnson and an 11-0 major decision over Ohio’s Kolten Barker before adding an 8-5 sudden-victory decision over Central Michigan’s Nick Blackburn… Ranked as high as No. 3 in the MAC during the season… Recorded 10 bonus-point victories with three technical falls and seven major decisions… Won his first three collegiate matches at the George Mason Duals, including a 17-1 technical fall over Williams’ Donnie Morton along with decisions over The Citadel’s George Rosas and Campbell’s Ryan Phillips… Went 3-2 at the Patriot Open with three consecutive major decisions over Maryland’s Clayton Gabrielson, Navy’s Adam Heckman and Sacred Heart’s Michael Schiffhauer… Earned a sudden-victory win over Edinboro’s Jacob Brenneman in dual competition… Closed the regular season with three consecutive major decisions, defeating Clarion’s Keagan Oler, Central Michigan’s Nick Blackburn and Gardner-Webb’s Till Helms… Named an NWCA Scholar All-American.

PREP: Wrestled at Memorial High School for head coach Larry Gruber… Finished his prep career with a 174-11 record… Two-time OHSAA Division II state champion and four-time state placer… Four-time Western Buckeye League champion… Four-year varsity letterwinner and served as team captain from his sophomore through senior seasons… Member of the National Honor Society and recipient of the Academic M Award… Competed for Team Miron under coach Miron Kharchilava.

PERSONAL: Son of Shanna and Tim Hisey… Has three siblings, Trevor, Tyler and Courtney… Older brothers Trevor and Tyler wrestled collegiately at Indiana Tech… Majoring in Finance… Enjoys pickleball, disc golf and playing Xbox.
