2011-12: Finished with a record of 8-17 as the number one heavyweight for the majority of the season... Was 4-9 overall in dual matches.

2010-11: Participated with the wrestling team for the first half of the season

2009-10: Attended University of Oklahoma in the fall and transferred to Mason in the spring

2008-09: Attended University of Oklahoma and had a 5-8 record as a freshman in unattached open tournaments in the heavyweight division.

Prep: Lettered in football for four years and wrestling for four years... Had an overall high school record of 154-23... Won the West Virginia state championship in 2005... Was the West Virginia state runner up in 2008...Was the Pennsylvania state runner up in 2007 and took seventh place at the National Prep Tournament, in which he earned Prep All-American honors...  Also recruited for wrestling by American University, Appalachian State and Duke... Recruited for football by USF, UCONN, WVU and Syracuse.

Personal: Son of Rochelle and Alan Barnette... Has one brother; Aaron... Enjoys fishing and traveling... Majoring in business administration.
