Prep: Earned letters in both indoor and outdoor track and field all four years in high schools and competed for Manhattan College her freshman and sophomore years at Manhattan College. Earned several ands honors including: All-New England (2009, 2010, 2011), All-State (2009, 2010, 2011) and All-Conference (2009, 2010, 2011).

Personal: Daughter if Elisabeth and Maynard Carty, Wahnetah has one brother, Jason. Plans to major in Integrative Studies with a concentration of Elementary Education.
