2021-22:  Recorded five singles matches in tournament action... Played with five different teammates in doubles action... Paired up with Savanna Crowell, the duo finished 5-8 on the season... Named ITA Scholar Athlete.

2020-21:  Played the top doubles position with Jack Nannery... The duo finished 5-5.

2019-20: Second of two collegiate seasons at Boise State… Went 4-4 overall in fall singles matches...went 2-1 in the Barb Chandler Classic to open the fall, beating Idaho State's Madison Fenske and Idaho's Maggie Chen (Sept. 13-15)… Went 2-4 in fall doubles matches...defeated Utah State's Annaliese Counter and Renata Lombera 7-5 with partner Joana Baptista (Sept. 15).

2018-19: Posted a 6-13 record in singles competitions...went 12-11 overall in fall doubles matches with five different partners… In the fall season, posted a 3-5 record in singles matches...earned her first collegiate victory against Montana State's Sarah Cheverie 6-3, 6-4 (Sept. 13)...advanced to the Bravo flight consolation final in her first collegiate tournament at the ITA Bedford Cup in the Mountains (Sept. 13-17)… In fall doubles, went 5-5 overall in doubles matches with three different partners...advanced to the championship match of the Cougar Classic Grey division doubles bracket with partner Vanessa Timm...advanced to the semifinals of the Barb Chandler Classic Blue flight doubles with partner Anja Dokic… Went 3-8 in singles play during the spring season, split between the five and six seeds…all three of her singles wins during the spring campaign were in straight sets…. Was 7-6 in doubles matches thanks to a 5-3 mark at the No. 2 doubles slot...defeated Colorado’s No. 2 doubles team 6-4 with partner Vanessa Timm (Feb. 24)… ITA All-Academic Team...Academic All-MW Team...MW Scholar-Athlete Award (3.5 or better cumulative GPA)
 
Prep: Played her high school tennis at Heritage Academy in Elder Prarie, Minn. …three-star recruit who was ranked 172^nd in her class…the No. 4 recruit out of Minnesota and No. 7 in the region…ranked fourth in the USTA Northern Region for her age group in (18s) 2017…finished third in doubles at nationals…won the doubles at an ITA Summer Series… Frankie is pursuing a degree in Psychology.
Personal:  Parents are Richard and Jennifer Trella… sister Josefina… Created an organization at Boise State University called Bronco Buddies, bringing together student athletes with children who have both mental and physical disabilities.
