2022: Started all 51 games he played in the field in his first year with the Patriots… Also made 12 appearances with six starts on the mound… Batted .269 (53-for-197) with 14 doubles, two triples, five home runs, 31 RBI, 29 runs scored, 20 walks, eight hit by pitch and one sacrifice fly… Started 43 games at third base, three games at shortstop and five games as the designated hitter… Started all 20 games he played in the field against Atlantic 10 opponents and batted .273 (21-for-77) with six doubles, one triple, three home runs, 15 RBI, 12 runs scored, eight walks, four hit by pitch and one sacrifice fly… Went 6-8 on stolen base attempts during the season… Had an 18-game on-base streak (Apr. 20-May 20), third-longest on the team seven-game hitting streak (May 1-May 13), fifth-longest on the team during the season… Had 14 multi-hit games, third-most on the club (2H 8x, 3H 6x) and tied for third on the team with seven multi-RBI games (2 RBI 6x, 4 RBI 1x)… At home, started all 24 games played in the field, and batted .247 (22-for-89) with six doubles, one triple, two home runs, 12 RBI, 12 runs scored, nine walks and six hit by pitch… On the road, started the 23 games he played in the field, and batted .264 (24-for-91) with seven doubles, one triple, two home runs, 16 RBI, 14 runs scored, 10 walks and two hit by pitch… Hit .264 (28-for-106) with runners on base, .375 (3-for-8) with the bases loaded, .261 (18-for-69) with runners in scoring position and .307 (23-for-75) with two outs… Hit .149 (7-for-47) vs. lefthanders and .307 (46-for-150) vs. righthanders…On the mound, made 12 appearances with six starts… Posted a 3-4 record with a 4.47 ERA (48.1 IP, 41 H, 29 R, 24 ER, 15 BB, 57 SO, 4-2B, 1-3B, 3-HR, 5 WP, 10 HBP, 0 BK)… The Patriots were 2-4 in his six starts... PRIOR TO MASON: Played two years at Norfolk State and two years at Patrick Henry Community College (Martinsville, Va.)… Named Conference Player of the Year at Norfolk State University his senior year… Won MEAC Conference championship while at Norfolk State University and got the start at third base against East Carolina in the 2021 NCAA Regional in Greenville, S.C… Runner-up for the John Olerude National Two-Way Player of the Year… Named Patrick Henry CC Male Patriot of the Year... Played junior and senior year at Norfolk State... Played and started 16 games as a junior in the COVID-19 shortened 2020 season, hit .241 (13-for-54) with one double and three RBI... Played 47 games with 44 starts his senior year with the Spartans during the 2021 season... Was second on the club in batting average (.356, 46-for-129), doubles (8) and triples (2), and ranked fourth on the team in hits (46), RBI (24), runs scored (27) and stolen bases (9)... Played freshman and sophomore year at PHCC... On the mound in 2019 as a sophomore, was 6-1 with a 2.99 ERA and struck out 91 batters in 72.1 innings... Also batted .354 and earned All-Region 10 Defensive Team honors... His freshman season in 2018, batted .326 and made 10 appearances on the mound with a 2.48 ERA and 46 strikeouts in 32.2 innings.

PREP: Three-year baseball letterwinner and one-year football letterwinner at Langley High School… Named First Team All-District quarterback… Selected 6A Northern Region baseball Player of the Year… 2017 First Team NoVa Nine… Named Conference Player of the Year and First Team All-Metro… Batted .509 senior year of high school and had a record of 3-1 with a 1.18 era on the mound as a pitcher.
