Former Mason men's tennis standout Eddie Ayers is in his first season as an assistant coach for women's tennis.

Ayers ended his Patriot career as one of the most accomplished and decorated student-athletes in program history. Ayers' resume includes a series of firsts and impressive achievements.

Known for methodically wearing his opponents down with a series of pinpoint ground strokes and strategically played shots, Ayers brought that same grind and focus into the classroom, where he became a George Mason Provost Scholar and earned A-10 All-Academic honors while working towards a degree in economics.
