2016-17: Recorded two individual second place and three individual third place finishes during the season…Finished 10th in the 1650-yard freestyle (17:23.34), 15th in the 500-yard freestyle (4:59.57) and 21st in the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.12), all season-best times, Feb. 15-18 at the 2017 Atlantic 10 Conference Championships…Finished seventh in both the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.44) and 500-yard freestyle (5:12.33) and placed 10th in the 100-yard freestyle (55.88) Jan. 21 vs. Army and Boston University…Posted a third place finish in both the 500-yard freestyle (5:19.55) and 1000-yard freestyle (10:49.25) and placed sixth in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.85) Jan. 14 vs. George Washington…Registered a 15th place finish in the 400-meter freestyle (4:42.11) and was 19th in the 100-meter freestyle (1:03.05) Jan. 3 at the Orange Bowl Classic in Key Largo, Florida…Swam in three individual events Nov. 17-19 at the Patriot Invitational, making the podium with a third place finish in the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.30) while finishing eighth in the 500-yard freestyle (5:01.72) and 23rd in the 100-yard freestyle with a season-best time (53.39)…Notched a sixth place finish in both the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.23) and 500-yard freestyle (5:09.31) and placed eighth in the 1650-yard freestyle (17:51.63) Nov. 4-5 in tri-meet vs. Towson and Northeastern…Contributed a fifth place finish in both the 500-yard freestyle (5:15.93) and 1650-yard freestyle (18:10.87) and was 13th in the 200-yard freestyle (2:01.65) Oct. 21-23 at the Richmond Duals…Touched the wall second in both the 500-yard freestyle (5:13.24) and 1000-yard freestyle with a season-best time (10:47.05) Oct. 15 vs. Delaware…Began the season with a seventh place finish in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:50.79), an eighth place finish in the 500-yard freestyle (5:16.25) and a 10th place result in the 200-yard freestyle (1:59.78) Oct. 7 in tri-meet vs. Navy and UMBC.
2015-16: Registered three individual second place and three individual third place finishes during the season…Was fifth in the 200-yard freestyle with a season-best time (1:51.69), 18th in the 500-yard freestyle with a season-best time (5:02.63) and 20th in the 1650-yard freestyle with a season-best time (17:34.55) Feb. 17-20 at the 2016 Atlantic 10 Championships…Recorded a third place finish in the 500-yard freestyle (5:11.36), fourth place finish in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:43.81), and fifth place finish in both the 100-yard freestyle (56.32) and 200-yard freestyle (1:57.91) Jan. 22 vs. Army and American…Notched a second place finish in the 500-yard freestyle (5:14.40) and touched third in the 1650-yard freestyle (18:01.58) Jan. 18 vs. George Washington…Placed ninth in the 400-meter freestyle (4:38.83) and 15th in the 100-meter freestyle (1:04.07) Jan. 3 at the Orange Bowl Classic in Key Largo, Florida…Swam in six freestyle events Nov. 19-21 at the Patriot Invitational, finishing seventh in the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.23), ninth in the 1650-yard freestyle (17:43.57), 12th in the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.18), 14th in the 500-yard freestyle (5:06.64), and 15th in the 100-yard freestyle with a season-best time (54.72)…Finished second in the 500-yard freestyle (5:08.86) and took second in the 1000-yard freestyle with a season-best time (10:36.93) Nov. 13 vs. La Salle…Was fifth in both the 100-yard freestyle (55.31) and 200-yard freestyle (1:55.64), fourth in the 500-yard freestyle (5:06.93) and ninth in the 1650-yard freestyle (17:55.53) Oct. 30-31 in quad meet vs. Drexel, Towson and Northeastern...Had a fourth place finish in both the 200-yard (1:56.60) and 500-yard (5:15.20) freestyle events Oct. 24 vs. Delaware…Earned a spot on the podium by finishing third in the 500-yard freestyle (5:11.62) and had a fifth place finish in the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.15) Oct. 16 at the Richmond Duals…Was fourth in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:45.08), fifth in the 500-yard freestyle (5:17.33) and seventh in the 200-yard freestyle (1:58.55) Oct. 9 vs. Navy.
2014-15: 5:02.66 in the 500-yard freestyle at Atlantic 10 Championships...1:52.86 in the 200-yard freestyle...1650-yard freestyle in 17:30.99 also at A-10's...Top 100-yard freestyle time of 53.80 at the Patriot Invitational.
2013-14: Did not participate in any events throughout the season.
2012-13: Posted a season-high times in the 1650 Free (17:18.66), 500 Free (4:56.55) and the 200 Free (1:51.30) at the CAA Championships…In the Army and American tri-meet posted a season-high time of 10:40.30 in the 1000 Free...Also set season high time in the 100 Free.
Prep: Three-year varsity letter winner as a swimmer...Winchester star swimmer of the year 2009-2010...Northern Virginia Daily swimmer of the year 2009-2010 and 2010-2011...National Honors Society 2010-2012.
Personal: Daughter of Paul and Jessica DeJong...Has a brother, Morgan, who swims at the U.S. Naval Academy and a sister, Emma...Majoring in kinesiology.
