2022-23:  Placed 21st in the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.60) and 22nd in the 200-yard backstroke (2:07.88), both season-best times, at the Patriot Invitational held at the Aquatic and Fitness Center Nov. 17-19… Finished 18th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:12.77) and 44th in the 50-yard freestyle (26.51) at the Atlantic 10 Classic held at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio Oct. 29-30… Touched the wall fourth in the 200-yard backstroke (2:12.69) and was eighth in the 100-yard backstroke with a season-best time (1:03.89) at the Richmond Duals Oct. 21-22… Competed in the 100-yard freestyle with a season-best time (56.01) vs. Towson at the Aquatic and Fitness Center Oct. 8.

2021-22:  Placed 34th in the 200-yard IM with a season-best time (2:09.62), 36th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:08.79) and 42nd in the 100-yard backstroke with a season-best time (59.22) at the 2022 Atlantic 10 Championships held at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio Feb. 16-19… Finished 18th in the 200-yard backstroke with a season-best time (2:07.46), 20th in the 200-yard freestyle with a season-best time (1:55.27), 24th in the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.21) and 30th in the 200-yard IM (2:11.13) at the Patriot Invitational at the Aquatic and Fitness Center Nov. 18-20… Competed in the 50-yard backstroke (29.28) and 200-yard backstroke (2:15.23) at the A-10 Classic held at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio Oct. 30-31… Touched the wall third in the 200-yard backstroke (2:11.92), took fourth in the 200-yard freestyle (2:01.59) and was sixth in the 100-yard backstroke (1:02.26) vs. Richmond and East Carolina at the Richmond Duals Oct. 22-23… Began the season seventh in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:15.74) and eighth in the 200-yard IM (2:20.94) vs. Delaware at the Aquatic and Fitness Center Oct. 9.

2020-21:  Placed 26th in both the 200-yard backstroke (2:06.35) and 200-yard IM (2:09.02) and 27th in the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.49), all season-best times, at the 2021 Atlantic 10 Championships held at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio April 14-17…Made the podium with a third-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.39) and placed fifth in the 200-yard IM (2:10.72) vs. Delaware, George Washington and William & Mary at the Aquatic and Fitness Center in Fairfax, Va. on Feb. 20.

2019-20:  Recorded two individual second-place finishes and one individual third-place finish during the season…Competed in three events, placing 25th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:05.02), 28th in the 100-yard backstroke (58.38) and 42nd in the 500-yard freestyle (5:09.97) in the preliminaries at the 2020 Atlantic 10 Championships held in Geneva, Ohio Feb. 19-22…Placed sixth in the 200-yard backstroke (2:08.14) and ninth in the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.06) vs. American, Army and Old Dominion Jan. 25…Made the podium with a third-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke (59.78) vs. UMBC Jan. 18…Placed 10th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:02.45), 11th in the 500-yard freestyle (5:01.32), 17th in the 100-yard backstroke (57.94) and was fifth in the preliminaries of the 400-yard IM (4:29.70), all season-best times, at the Patriot Invitational Nov. 21-23…Touched the wall second in the 200-yard backstroke (2:06.28), was sixth in the 200-yard IM (2:10.89) and seventh in the 400-yard IM (4:35.79) vs. La Salle at the Atlantic 10 Classic Nov. 2-3…Placed second in the 200-yard backstroke (2:07.38) and fourth in the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.03) vs. Davidson and Duquesne at the Richmond Duals Oct. 18-19…Began the season with a fourth-place finish in the 400-yard IM (4:38.00) and placed fifth in both the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.01) and 200-yard backstroke (2:08.10) at Delaware Oct. 5.

PREP:  Four-time letterwinner in swimming at North Oldham High School… Team captain (2018, 2019)... Selected All-County and All-District while competing with the Mustangs… Was named the Oldham County Athlete of the Winter… Academic All-State… National Honor Society... Swam for club Cardinal Aquatics.
 
PERSONAL:  Daughter of Amy and Rick Ashton… Has two siblings, Kate and Thomas… Great uncle, Tommy, played in the MLB and her second cousin, Patrick, played in the NFL… Recruited by Denison, Emory, Washington, Saint Louis and Kenyon… Major is Government and International Politics and Criminology.
