Performance History

2022-23:  Recorded two top-three performances with one individual second place finish and one individual third place finish… Was 10th on the team in points (80.50)… Made the podium with a second place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:18.67) and was fifth in the 400-yard IM (4:31.56), ninth in the 200-yard IM (2:07.03) and 10th in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.78), all season-best times, at the Patriot Invitational at the Aquatic and Fitness Center Nov. 17-19… Placed ninth in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:27.65), 13th in the 200-yard IM (2:10.59) and 23rd in the 200-yard freestyle with a season-best time (1:59.84) ) at the A-10 Classic held at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio Oct. 29-30… Finished fourth in both the 100-yard breaststroke (1:07.72) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:26.12) and touched the wall fifth in the 400-yard IM (4:42.28) at the Richmond Duals Oct. 21-22… Began the season with a third place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:25.84) and a sixth place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:07.66) vs. Towson Oct. 8.

PREP: Attended Mills E. Godwin High School where she earned varsity letters in swimming… Named team captain of the Eagles during the 2021-2022 season… Swam for club NOVA.
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Traci and Chris Nelson… Has one sibling, Paige… Hobbies include surfing… Plans to major in Psychology.
