Biography

2014: Appeared in six games for the Patriots, starting one ...took two shots on goal in Mason's season finale against La Salle (4/27)...Spring 2014 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll...Provost Scholar.

2013: Took the field in six contests…Took a shot against Liberty (3/20)…Assisted on a goal against Delaware (4/7).

2012: Out for the season due to an ACL injury, earning a medical redshirt.

2011: Played in two games for the Patriots...Recorded a ground ball against Virginia (April 13). 

Prep: Received a varsity letter in indoor track and one in lacrosse and was also the team captain of the lacrosse team ...Was second team "All-Galaxy League" in 2008, U.S. Lacrosse Women's Divisions National Tournament member in 2009, Anne Arundel County second team in 2009 and 2010 and also Anne Arundel County Capital Gazette All-County second team in 2009 and 2010 ... Earned High School Academic All-American award in 2009 and Minds-in-Motion/Scholar Athlete Award from 2007 to 2010 ... Also was recruited by American, Robert Morris University, Virginia Tech, William and Mary, Denver and James Madison.

Personal: Parents are Richard and Joan Scruggs ... Has one older brother; Richard ... Double majoring in art and visual technology and communications ... Enjoys snowboarding, art, music and playing drums.
