2019:
Appeared in 8 games and made one start… Played 197:03, making 30 saves and allowed 33 goals on 89 shots faced… Played 30 minutes and recorded a season high seven saves at Maryland on Feb. 9 (16-5 Terrapins)… Logged 30 minutes and made four saves at William & Mary on Feb. 16 (10-6 Tribe)… Made three saves in 27:44 minutes played in 17-6 win at Iona College on March 9… Contributed 30 minutes and stopped two shots (including 200th career save) in Mason’s 20-6 victory vs. La Salle on March 24… Stopped five shots in 25:41 minutes in Mason’s 19-5 win vs. St. Bonaventure on March 31… Equaled season high with seven saves in 30 minutes of action in 15-10 Patriot win vs. George Washington on April 14.

2018: Played in four games, making one start...Tallied 19 saves on the season...Made her first appearance of the season at St. Bonaventure and recorded two saves...Recorded nine saves at Saint Joseph's on April 22...Started the first half of the quarterfinal game against Saint Joseph's and made seven saves on May 3.

2017: Played in 10 games, making seven starts... Made 70 saves on the season... Allowed 90 goals in 454 minutes for a 11.87 goals against average... Posted save percentage of .438... Finished season with 4-4 record... Matched a career high with 12 saves against William & Mary in the season opener (Feb. 18)... Had three games with 10 saves or more... Allowed a season-low six goals in 15-8 victory over La Salle (March 31) in which she played the entire game... Named to Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2016: Played in 13 games, making 12 starts... Named to Atlantic 10 Conference All-Rookie Team... Finished season allowing just 7.84 goals against average for the lowest GAA in a single season in program history (minimum 700 minutes)... Allowed 93 goals in 711 minutes... Posted .505 save percentage... Finished in top five in A-10 in saves per game (7.31), save percentage (.505) and goals against average (7.84)... Had a 9-3 record... Twice named A-10 Rookie of the Week... Saw first collegiate action and made first career start against Fresno State (March 11) and made nine saves in victory... Made career-high 12 saves in win against George Washington (April 1)... Also registered 11 saves three times - twice against Richmond on April 3 and in the A-10 Tournament on May 6 and against St. Bonaventure on April 22... Allowed a season-low three goals in win against VCU in 41 minutes... Allowed five goals or fewer in five games... Shut out Saint Joseph's in first half of 16-7 victory (April 24)... Also had 14 ground balls, including season-high three against Massachusetts (April 8)... Caused six turnovers, including two in games against UMass and VCU (April 30)... Named to Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll. 

Prep: Elizabeth Benedetto earned a total of six letters while at W.T. Woodson High School, earning four in lacrosse and two in field hockey…Helped the Cavaliers to the Patriot Conference Varsity Lacrosse Championship in 2013, 2014 and 2015…Earned numerous awards and honors throughout her career including…After recording 142 saves with a 56.57% as a senior she was named Patriot League Player of the Year, W.T. Woodson Female Athlete of the Year…She was named to the First Team All-Conference, VHSL 6A All-State, VHSL All-Region and NRWLCA 6A/5A North All-Region as well as the Washington Post All-Met Second team…Earned First Team All-Conference following her junior season…Named the 2013 W.T. Woodson Varsity Lacrosse MVP…Also earned recognition in field hockey…She was named First Team All-Conference, Second Team All-Region and to the Virginia State High School Field Hockey All-Star team in 2014…Played club lacrosse with Capital Lacrosse (2011-14) and SuperNoVa Lacrosse (2010-2011).

Personal: Youngest daughter of Rocky and Marguerite Benedetto, she has two older sisters, Rebecca and Nora…Was a well-rounded student at W.T. Woodson High School, earning the scholar-athlete award in 2013, 2013 and 2015 and a varsity letter for academic achievement in 2014 along…Benedetto earned the National Latin Exam Award in 2013 and 2015.
