Now has 111 draw controls in career for second-most all-time at Mason... Needs just eight draw controls to become program's all-time leader... Tied a school record with seven draw controls against Oregon (March 9)... Also had six draw controls against Liberty (March 23)... Most draw controls in a game since 2013... Tied a career high with five goals (on five shots) against St. Bonaventure (April 22)... Also had four games with four goals... Had a team-high 12 multi-goal games... 2015: Atlantic 10 First Team All-Conference… Named VaSID All-State Second Team... Competed in all 17 games for the Patriots, starting in 16…Registered 38 points behind 32 goals and six assists…Was named A-10 Player of the Week following the Patriots wins over Wagner and Furman…McGovern registered seven goals on the week, with a career-high five goals at Wagner (3/14)…Registered a career-high six points at George Washington behind four goals and two assists.. Ended the season second all-time at Mason for draw controls in a season with 53...Tied for fourth in draw controls in a game with six.
2014: Saw action in 15 games for the Patriots...Finished with four goals, seven ground balls, 12 draw controls and caused one turnover...Had a career-high two goals in Mason's win over St. Bonaventure.
