2016: Appeared in six games in relief with a 1-0 record and a 9.45 ERA…Allowed seven runs, seven earned, on 10 hits in 6.2 innings…Struck out three and walked six…Pitched 1.1 scoreless innings with two strikeouts Feb. 28 against Rutgers…Pitched a season-high 2.0 scoreless innings to earn the win over Bryant March 5 at Spuhler Field...Allowed just one hit and retired the last five batters of the game in the 3-2 victory over the Bulldogs…Appeared in six of the first 17 games of the season…Four of his six appearances during the season were at Spuhler Field.

2015: Appeared in 22 games as the primary closer...1-1 record with a team-high eight saves, fourth in the Atlantic 10...Eight saves is the fourth most in a single season at George Mason...20 games finished, second in the Atlantic 10...2.05 ERA was second lowest on the team...16 strikeouts to only six walks in 22 inning pitched...Only allowed three earned runs the rest of the season after allowing two in his first outing vs. Ohio State...Struck out the side vs. Canisius on 4/19...Earned the win against George Washington on 4/26.

2014: Redshirt season. 

At Chesapeake College: NJCAA All-Region selection after pitching in 12 games, all but one as a starter…Amassed an 8-2 record and 3.34 ERA with two complete games in 62 innings of work, tying the school record for wins in a season…Struck out 54 batters compared to 20 walks…Threw a three-hit shutout with nine strikeouts in win over Sullivan County CC (Mar. 21)…Tossed eight innings, allowing two runs (one earned) with four Ks in win over Allegany (May 2).

High School: Lettered two years for the Spartans…Member of Northern Region championship squad in 2012, allowing two runs and five hits in 8.1 innings in the title game against Lake Braddock.

Personal: Parents are Julie and John Tobin…Has two brothers, Tucker and Chase…Brother, Tucker, played two seasons on the Mason baseball team…Plans to major in sports management.
