• Went on a four-game hitting streak during the season…Recorded only home run of the season against Dayton on April 22... Tallied only triple of the season against St. Bonaventure on April 7… Recorded only double of the season against Dayton on April 22… Made two hits in a game six times, most recently against Campbell in the NCAA Regional on May 20 (led the team in hits that game)...Recorded season-high three RBI against Dayton on April 22... Stole 11 bases on 13 attempts (both career highs)

2022 - SOPHOMORE

• Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete for the second year in a row
• Played in 39 games with 36 starts in the outfield for the Patriots
• Batted .184/.236/.276 with 18 hits, 12 runs scored, two home runs and 11 RBI... Went on a six-game hitting streak during the season (career-high)…Tallied two hits, one run, an RBI, and five putouts in a double header against Lafayette on March 6… Recorded two hits, a run, two RBI, a home run and three putouts in a win at Towson on March 13… Contributed with two hits, one run, a career-high four RBI, a home run and two putouts in a victory against MD Eastern Shore.
• Made 62 putouts and two outfield assists for a fielding percentage of .985... Had three or more putouts in 10 games

2021 - FRESHMAN

• Played in 30 games, 25 starts, in the outfield for Mason
• Finished her rookie season third on the squad in batting average (.288) with the team lead in triples (2, career-high) and fourth on the roster in total hits (21). In the field, Bales tallied 36 putouts and two outfield assists with a perfect fielding percentage (1.000, career-high)
• Earned a six-game hitting streak (May 2 - May 9) to end the season, tallying nine hits, four RBI, three runs scored and three doubles in the six-game span
• Recorded batting average/on-base percentage/slugging percentage with .288 (career-high)/.316/.364
• Notched six multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games in her rookie campaign
• Went 1-for-3 with a run scored in a win over La Salle on May 9
• Went 3-for-6 with two RBI and two stolen bases in a doubleheader versus La Salle on May 8
• Went 3-for-6 at the plate with a double and a run scored in a doubleheader against Morgan State on May 5
• Recorded two RBI doubles and a run scored at George Washington on May 2
• Tallied two hits and two RBI at George Washington on May 1
• Notched two hits and a run scored in a win over Saint Louis on April 10
• Went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in a win over St. Bonaventure on April 3
• Tallied her first collegiate RBI with an RBI triple in a win over St. Bonaventure on April 2
• Tabbed her first career hit and triple in the same at-bat versus George Washington on March 21.

PREP:  Earned varsity letters in softball and volleyball all four years at La Plata High School… The Warriors were two-time state champions in softball… An outfielder… Named the 2017 & 2018 Best Offensive Player… 2019 MVP & SMAC MVP…  Played for Orion Hunter Elite club team… also recruited by Maryland… Volleyball 2019 Defensive player of the year… Earned principal Honor roll in all four years… National Technical Honor Society in 2018/19… National Science Honor Society last two years of high school in 2018-19 and 2019-20… National Honor Society two years (2018-19, 2019-20)… Student Government Association in 2016-17.
 
PERSONAL:  Parents are Kim Bales and Rob Chamberlain… Siblings are Corbin Bales and Jayci Chamberlain… Majoring in criminology.
