Biography

2018: Made 27 starts over 29 games... Recorded her first collegiate hit against Virginia (Feb. 17)...Earned a game-high in hits (two) and RBIs (two) along with a run scored in a win at Abilene Christian (Feb. 18)...Notched a game-high eight putouts in a win versus Saint Louis (March 30)...Tallied a game-high three RBIs, including a two-run home run, in a victory at La Salle (April 21)... Finished the season with a four-game hitting streak (April 21-May 9) and a stretch of hitting safely in six of the last seven games (April 11-May 9)...

Prep: With her heart split between soccer and softball in high school, Miah Wilson earned a total of eight varsity letters at Jackson High School in North Canton and even captained the Polar Bears  soccer team for two years. Those are also the two sports she played outside of school, combining 17 total club seasons. She was named the 2014 All-Federal League Player of the Year in soccer and earned back-to-back honorable mentions in softball. In 2015 and 2016, the catcher was named Jackson's Scholar-Athlete in 2015. Wilson batted .395 during her career at Jackson and picked up two home runs. The catcher competed in the On Deck National Player Showcase and the 2015 Grand Strand Classic.

Personal: Daughter of James and Tamsin Wilson and the older sister to two brothers. Graduated with summa cum laude from Jackson, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She studies biology and enjoys traveling, community service and spending time with family and friends.
