2014: Started in three games for the Patriots ... finished with a .125 batting average ... recorded a hit and an RBI against Cornell on March 7 ... finished with nine putouts and zero errors on the season...Spring 2014 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Prep: Played four years of varsity softball and was a team captain her senior year... She was also a four-year honor student and graduated with honors... An Illinois State scholar, student embassador and presidents award winner... Made her high school all-star team and was asked to participate in DeMarini top 100 players... Nominated for Eastern Catholic league Suburban Showcase... Also recruited by Baldwin-Wallace, Weber State and Lehigh. 

Personal: Daughter of Hareena and John... Her mother Hareena Meghani-Wakely played four years of tennis at Princeton University and also played professionally... Marisa was 2nd in the state for her speech team sophomore year... Summer team the Beverly Bandits came in fifth at nationals and her high school team made it to super sectionals... A psychology major that enjoys softball, longboarding and cooking.
