At Mason:

2019: Started in 41 games being mostly used as the designated player…Fourth on the team in hits (34) and third in runs (17) and RBIs (15)…Second on the squad in doubles (8)…Hit her lone home run of the season vs. Akron (Feb. 17)…Went 3-for-4 with three runs at Dayton (March 24), including a RBI and double…Finished 2-for-4 at Dayton (March 23)…Strong showing vs. Fordham on March 31 with two hits and a run…Notched two hits and two RBIs with a stolen base vs. La Salle (April 20)…Scored two runs and hit a double vs. Georgetown (April 24)…Back-to-back games with two RBIs vs. St. Bonaventure…Drew a career-high three walks vs. SBU (April 27).

2017: Played in 50 games – fourth most for the Patriots – and starting in every one of them, most of them as a designated hitter…averaged .235 at the plate in 153 at-bats. Curbeira was the fifth-most productive Patriot with 36 hits…tied for second-most RBI with 21 and scored as many runs…finished the season with 63 putouts. The transfer from Radford had season-high three hits against Hampton (April 12) and at Rhode Island (April 15) and scored season-high two runs scored versus Rhode Island (April 15) and in two games of the tripleheader against St. Bonaventure on April 23. The Henrico, Va. native recorded season-best 13 putouts versus Charleston (February 11)…reached base safely in 25 games.

Went 2 for 2 in first game and had two RBI and three runs scored in second game... Recorded first career hit in series opener vs G-WU on Apr. 8... Added second multi-hit game in win over Presbyterian on Apr. 17.

Prep: Jess Curbeira was selected Second Team All-District, First Team All-Conference, Most Improved Player and Offensive Player of the Year while playing for Mills E. Godwin High School. After two previous ASA Gold national tournament appearances, as a senior Curbeira placed 13th out of 104 teams at nationals with the Sarasota Heat, one of her club teams. She also played for the Richmond Ruckus.

Personal: Daughter of Frank and Terri Curbeira… Has one sister, Amanda… Member of National Honor Society and on Mills Godwin’s honor roll all four years.
