Had a season high 4 at bats in three games [at Howard (March 6), vs Georgetown (March 23), and at Towson (March 30)] ... season high 10 put outs at Towson (March 30) ... Played in her first collegiate game vs Providence (February 20) ... Scored all 3 of her runs, had a season high 3 hits at Howard (March 6) ... Had 2 multi-hit games ... 3 multi-RBI games ... Reached base safely in 5 games ... Named to the Spring 2016 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll. 

Prep: Hinton enjoyed four successful seasons with the Landstown Eagles in high school. She was named to the Second Team All-Beach District in 2013 and the following season received the Most Valuable Player award in the conference as well as a place on the conference's ideal team. Her athletic and leadership skills earned her the honor to be the Eagles' captain in her senior season, and she drew motivation from this to earn a spot on the First Team All-Coastal Conference.

Personal: Daughter of Lisa Lewis. Hinton graduated high school with honors and will major in Marketing. She was a member of the National Technical Honors Society for three years during high school.
