Performance History
2016 Outdoor: Competed at seven meets… Named Atlantic 10 Track Performer of the Year after capturing four medals, including two gold, at the Atlantic 10 Championships (May 7-8)... Finished first in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.39 for his fourth straight gold in the event (indoor and outdoor) at Atlantic 10 Championships... Also helped 4x100-meter relay team win gold at A-10 Championships with a time of 40.54... Won silver in 100-meter dash with a time of 10.67 at the A-10 Championships... Help 4x400-meter relay team place second with a time of 3:11.81 at A-10 Championships... Helped the 4x200 relay to a first place finish with a time of 1:23.80 at the Raleigh Relays (March 25-26)… Qualified for the IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships (May 13-15) and the NCAA Division I East Preliminary Rounds (May 26-28).
2016 Indoor: Competed in six meets… Helped the 4x400 relay team to a first place finish with a time of 3:16.71 at BU Scarlet and White (Feb. 6)… Posted a personal best in the 55m with a time of 6.45 at the Crimson Elite (Feb. 5)… Qualified for the Atlantic 10 Championships (Feb. 20-21)… Won two gold medals in the 60-meter and the 200-meter dashes with times of 6.85 and 21.65 at the Atlantic 10 Championships (Feb. 20-21).
2015 Outdoor: Competed in six meets for the Patriots, helping Mason to an Outdoor Atlantic 10 Title with a first place finish in the 200m dash as well as helping the 4x100m relay and 4x400m relay teams to first place finishes and took fourth in the 400m dash, setting a personal record with a mark of 47.93…Set a personal record in the 200m dash after finishing second with a time of 21.21 at the Michael Johnson Classic…
2015 Indoor: Atlantic 10 Champion in the 200m and the 4x400m relay. Set a personal record in the 60m dash with a mark of 6.94 in a first-place finish at the Father Diamond Invitational. Finished first in the 200m at the Patriot Games.
2014 Outdoor: Ran in the 200m, 400m and 4x100m relay...Set PR in the 200m (21.54) and 400m (48.20) at the A10 championships where he finished sixth and fifth respectivly to help Mason to a second place finish. Helped the Patriots to a win in the 4x100m relay.
2014 Indoor: Ran in the 200m and 400m dash...Finished second in the 400m dash at the Patriot Games and third in the 200m at the same meet.
Prep: Earned letters in baseball (2 years) and track and field (2 letters) at Knightdale High School in Raleigh, NC...800 Medley National champ at the New Balance Nationals...Runner-up in 4x400 and 4x200
Personal: Son of Bernard and Sonya Freeman born May 25, 1995 in Raleigh, NC...has one older brother Allen, 25, who competed in track and field at UNC Charlotte...Named to the Academic All-Conference team
