Performance History

2022-23:  Placed third in the 200-yard backstroke (1:48.73) and 24th in the 500-yard freestyle (4:47.88), both season-best times, at the Patriot Invitational held at the Aquatic and Fitness Center Nov. 17-19… Finished third in both the 100-yard backstroke with a season-best time (52.14) and 200-yard backstroke (1:53.42) vs. Towson Oct. 8.  

PREP: Attended Walter Johnson High School… Selected to the All-State team… Holds his high school record in both the 100-meter backstroke and the 4x200 medley… Holds WJ 100-backstroke record and was posted a third-place finish in State Championships in the 100-yard backstroke.
 
PERSONAL: Son of Eka Gvasalia and David Natsvlishvili… Hobbies include programming, art and music… Also recruited by Ithaca College, UMASS Amherst and Alfred University… Plans to major in computer and data science.
