George Mason University Athletics

2010-11:  Finished 16^th in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:53.82 at the CAA Championships... While at the CAA Championships he posted season best times in the 100-yard butterfly (53.13), 200-yard butterfly (1:53.43), and 200-yard IM (2:00.90). 

2009-10: Finished 14th in the 200-yard butterfly (1:53.57), 22nd in the 100-yard butterfly (51.92), and 34th in the 50-yard freestyle (22.55) at the CAA Championships.

2008-09: Swam a season-best 52.27 in the 100 meter butterfly and 1:52.96 in the 200-meter butterfly at the PV Short Course Championships.

Prep: Earned four letters in swimming...Earned three letters in lacrosse at Middletown High school...Earned rookie of the year, MVP and All-state honors as a senior...Was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Parents are Nancy and Allen Nelson...Has two siblings, Katie (24) and Mike (20)...Major is Athletic Training...Also recruited by Towson and IUP.
