2019-20:  Recorded six top-three performances with one individual second place finish and five individual third place finishes during the season…Placed sixth in the one-meter diving event with a season-best score (272.15) and 13th in the three-meter event (227.10) at the 2020 Atlantic 10 Championships held at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio Feb. 19-22…Made the podium with a third-place finish in the one-meter event (239.25) and placed fourth in the three-meter event (239.25) vs. American, Army and Old Dominion Jan. 25…Took third in the three-meter event with a season-best score (269.25) and was fourth in the one-meter event (245.03) vs. UMBC Jan. 18…Placed seventh in the one-meter event (220.35) and was 11th in the three-meter event (211.70) at the Patriot Invitational Nov. 21.23…Finished sixth in both the one-meter (240.10) and three-meter (199.80) events at the Atlantic 10 Classic Nov. 2-3…Made the podium twice with third place finishes in both the one-meter (222.70) and three-meter (191.25) events vs. Davidson at the Richmond Duals Oct. 18-19…Began the season with a second place finish in the three-meter event (216.80) and a third place finish in the one-meter event (192.10) at Delaware Oct. 5.

2018-19:  Recorded three individual second place and one individual third place finish during the season…Took eighth place in the three-meter diving event (246.30) and ninth place in the one-meter event (257.55) (a personal-best score) at the 2019 Atlantic 10 Championships Feb. 20-23…Finished sixth in both the one-meter event (241.40) and the three-meter event (248.90) vs. American, Army, and Old Dominion on Jan. 19…Placed fifth in the three-meter event (234.90) and sixth in the one-meter event (221.90) at the Patriot Invitational Nov. 15-17…Placed fifth in the three-meter event (256.35) and seventh in the one-meter event (199.55) at the Atlantic 10 Classic Oct. 27-28…Made the podium twice with second place finishes in the one-meter event (203.65) and in the three-meter event (242.70) at the Richmond Duals Oct. 20-21…Started the season with a third place finish in the one-meter event (212.63) and fourth place finish in the three-meter event (203.10) vs. Delaware on Oct. 13.

2017-18:  Recorded two individual second place and four individual third place finishes during the season…Placed 12^th in both the one-meter diving event (214.85) and three-meter event (230.75) Feb. 14-17 at the Atlantic 10 Championship…Took third in the one-meter event (225.00) and placed second in the three-meter event (268.28), both season-best scores, Jan. 26-27 at Liberty and VMI…Finished eighth in both the one-meter dive (214.25) and three-meter dive (228.10) Jan. 20 vs. Army, American and Boston University…Placed ninth in the one-meter event (204.15) and was 14^th in the three-meter event (168.50) Nov. 16-18 at the Patriot Invitational…Finished seventh in the three-meter (192.75) and eighth in the one-meter (176.40) Oct. 28-29 at the Atlantic 10 Classic…Took second in the three-meter (220.85) and third in the one-meter (186.40) Oct. 20-21 at the Richmond Duals…Made the podium twice with third place finishes in both the one-meter event (204.00) and three-meter event (198.98) Oct. 14 at Delaware.

2016-17:  Recorded three individual second place scores during the season…Placed 16th in the one-meter dive (167.85) and 18th in the three-meter dive (154.60) Feb. 15-18 at the 2017 Atlantic 10 Championships…Made the podium with a second place score in the three-meter dive (219.20) and finished fifth in the one-meter dive (117.10) Oct. 21-22 at the Richmond Duals…Took second in both the one-meter dive (209.70) and three-meter dive (219.80), both season-best scores, Oct. 15 vs. Delaware…Finished eighth in the one-meter dive (189.75) and seventh in the three-meter dive (174.30) Oct. 7 vs. Navy and UMBC.

Prep:  One-year member of the diving team, earning one letter at W.T. Woodson High School…Also a member of the crew team for one year…Recorded a score of 268 in the 1-meter dive and a score of 268 in the 3-meter dive at regionals in Region 2…Scholar-Athlete award winner.

Personal:  Son of Judy and Mike Amato…Has two siblings:  Sara and Lisa…Also considered Virginia Tech and William & Mary…Engineering major.
