2010-11:  Finished 14^th in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:06.69 and 16^th in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 58.92 at the CAA Championships... While at the championships posted season best times in the 100-yard breaststroke (58.20), 200-yard breaststroke (2:05.42), and the 200-yard IM (1:53.85). 

2009-10: Placed fourth in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:03.99) and 12th in the 100-yard breaststroke (57.68) at the CAA Championships.

2008-09: Swam his fastest time of the season, 2:13.70 in the 200 meter breaststroke, at the Patriot Invitational.

2007-08: Finished 12th in the 200-yard IM (1:55.21), and 16th in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:00.41) at the CAA Championships.

Prep: Four year member of the Indians swim team ... earned first place at regionals.

Personal: Full name is Jared Keith Melkun ... parents are Cheryl and Keith Melkun ... has two sisters, Charlotte (20) and Hannah (13) ... enjoys surfing and going to the beach ... majoring in chemistry.
