2010-11:  Was fourth in the 100-yard backstroke with a season best time of 50.39 in the 100-yard backstroke at the CAA Championships... Also put up season best times of 21.17 in the 50-yard freestyle and 47.09 in the 100-yard freestyle at the CAA Championships... Recorded a season best time of 2:02.42 in the 200-yard backstroke on 11/21/10. 

2009-10: Placed 10th in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 51.17 and finished 24th in the 100-yard freestyle (47.85) and 25th in the 50-yard freestyle (21.77) at the CAA Championships.

2008-09: Swam the first leg of Mason's 7th place 200-yard freestyle team, finished 14th in the 50-yard freestyle (21.09), 14th in the 100-yard backstroke (52.65) and 33rd in the 100-yard freestyle (47.73) at the CAA Championships.

2007-08: Finished 25th in the 50-yard freestyle (21.93), 16th in the 100-yard backstroke (54.24), 35th in the 100-yard freestyle (48.70) in the CAA Championships.

Prep: Two-year letter winner for the Rams swimming team ... also played eight years of volleyball ... placed ninth in the 50 back and 15th in 50 free at NVSL All Star Meet.

Personal: Full name is Hans Loudon Johnsen ... parents are Pamela and D. Bruce Johnsen ... has two sisters, Whitney (25) and Erika (19) ... sister Whitney swam for Virginia Tech ... enjoys playing volleyball and snowboarding ... majoring in physics.
