2014-15: 49.46 was top time in 100-yard freestyle... 1:46.30 in the 200-yard freestyle... Swam the 500 free once, finishing in 4:58.95.

2013-14: Season-best 1000 freestyle time of 9:54.05 vs. George Washington... A season-best 200 freestyle time of 44.16... 1650 freestyle time of 16:29.08... 500 freestyle mark of 43.85. 

Prep: Swam and lettered for three years... 2012 and 2013 500 freestyle section champion... 2012 200 free section champion... Placed third at NY State championship meet... All-Section 2012-2013 in 500 free and set county record in the 500 free. 

Personal: Son of Jeanne and David Shields... Participated in travel swimming for seven years... Hobbies include video games, running and triathlons... Civil Engineering major.
