Phillip Krone committed to George Mason from King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys.
 
Among England boys, Krone is a top 16 English amateur in the class of 2024. Moseley Golf Club in Birmingham is his home course.

Captured the prestigious 2025 Peter Alliss Trophy, one of Europe's top amateur titles. He posted a 13-under-par total (69-67-67) at Beaconsfield Golf Club in Buckinghamshire, England.
 
With an average score of 72.4 strokes and a tournament low 64, Krone has eight top 10 finishes in U18 tournaments.
 
Krone was champion at the 2022 Midland Boys Junior Championship with a six-under-par 36-hole score played at Burghley Park and finished first at the 2022 Edgbaston Club Championship. He finished runner-up at the Midland Amateur, the 2023 Daily telegraph Grand Final (70,76,69) and the 2022 Olton Cup and Bowl (73,69).
 
At the Peter McEvoy Trophy golf tournament, arguably the most prestigious Great British and Irish amateur competition for young golfers, Krone placed ninth in the 2024 event played at Copt Heath in April.
 
Krone selected to the England U18 Regional Squad, the Worcestershire U18 and First Team.
