2024-25:  Fourth-best stroke average on the team, 75.78... low round 68 in his first collegiate tournament (Howard Invitational)... Best finish was 28th at the Dorado Beach Collegiate by UNCG... Third on the team with 11 Par/Better rounds... One of four players to play in all 12 tournament, 36 rounds.

Prep: David Fuhrer II comes to George Mason from Fox Chapel High School in Pittsburgh where he owns the lowest stroke average (71.8) in the school's history.
 
Fox Chapel won the 2021 WPIAL team championship when Fuhrer was a sophomore. The Foxes were also PIAA runner-up as a team that season.
 
Fuhrer closed out his high school career with in a four-way tie for 10th place as part of the 2023 PIAA Class 3A championship played at the Penn State Blue Golf Course. He punched his ticket to states with a fifth-place finish at the WPIALs. Fuhrer finished the tournament at 2-under par 142 (72-70).

Fuhrer, rising sophomore, claimed the 125th WPGA Amateur Championship at Sunnehanna Country Club in July, finishing 8-under-par over 54 holes. He birdied the final hole to break a three-way tie atop the leaderboard and earn his first West Penn major title.

McMeans, also a rising sophomore, enjoyed a strong summer campaign. He placed third at the Kenridge Invitational at Farmington Country Club with rounds of 68-71-67. He also finished third at the Northern Virginia Amateur at Evergreen Country Club and placed 17th at the State Open of Virginia (68-70-72). McMeans earned medalist honors in VSGA Amateur and State Open qualifying by firing a 67 at Laurel Hill Golf Club.Fuhrer claimed the 2024 Pennsylvania Junior Boys' Championship with a three-round total of 209 (-4) played at Hershey Country Club. His final round included eight birdies, and he finished four strokes better than second place.

Living up to his golf legacy family, Fuher won the C.R. Miller Memorial Match Play Invitational becoming the third member of the Fuhrer family to win the title. Fuhrer's uncles, Steve Fuhrer etched his name as champion in 1980 and Frank Fuhrer III won it in 1974 — the year's inaugural competition. Uncle Frank played collegiate golf for the University of North Carolina.
