2010 Indoor: Qualified for the IC4A Championships in the
5000-meter run with a time of 14:37.75 at the BU Valentine
Invitational... Ran a time of 8:30.26 in the 3000-meter run at the Mason
Last Chance meet.
2009 Cross Country: Ran his fastest time of the season on
the 8k course at the CAA Championships, where he crossed the finish line
in 25:41.61 to finish in 12th place... Earned All-CAA honors for his
performance at the conference championship meet... Clocked in at
32:53.40 on the 10k course at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships.
2009 Outdoor: Finished seventh in the 10,000-meter run at
the CAA Championships with a time of 31:20.48 (Apr. 18)... Ran a
season-fastest time of 9:06.14 in the 3,000-meters at the UVA Spring
Swashbuckle (Mar. 21).
2009 Indoor: Ran a time of 4:36.88 in the mile at the
Father Diamond Invitational... Top time in the 3000-meter run was
8:50.40 at the Mason Last Chance meet...Finished in second place in the
3000-meter run at the Father Diamond Invitational with a time of
9:06.14.
2008 Cross Country: Ran the fastest time of any Patriot
all season at the CAA Championships with a time of 25:17.00... Ran one
of the two top-10 finishes on the team all season at the James Madison
Invitational, finishing eighth at the meet.
At JMU: Competed for a year at James Madison before
transferring to George Mason when the Dukes dropped their men's track
and field program... Earned 2006 CAA Rookie of the Year honors in cross
country.
Prep: Competed in cross country and indoor and outdoor
track and field at Poway High School in California... Also attended
Forest Park High School before moving to California... Two-time
All-Conference and All-CIF... MVP of his track and field team in 2004...
MVP in cross country in 2004 and 2005.
Personal: Parents are Mike and
Lechelle Tekesky... Has three siblings, T.J., Taylor and Leighanne...
Nickname is Scotty... Hobbies include fishing, hiking, hunting, dancing
and playing World of Warcraft... Majoring in history.
