Evan Duhon

Evan Duhon joins the George Mason baseball staff for his first year as assistant coach for the 2024 season.

Before joining the Patriots, Duhon spent the last three seasons as an assistant coach at Queens University of Charlotte, N.C.  During his time at Queens, Duhon worked with the hitters, infielders, outfielders and base running and was heavily involved in all aspects of recruiting. 

While at Queens, Duhon helped the team transition from NCAA Division II to Division I for the 2023 season.  The Royals won 17 games in their inaugural season in Division I. 

In his second year at Queens in 2022, the Royals broke the school record for wins and made the conference tournament for the first time in program history.

Prior to Queens, Duhon spent five years on staff at the University of Virginia, serving as a student manager.  He was heavily involved in the video program, which included creating scouting reports, analyzing opponent film and running video programs such as Trackman, Rapsodo, Synergy and SportsCode. 

Duhon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics in 2019 before completing his Masters of Education in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration in 2020. 

Duhon is a New Orleans, La. native.
