George Mason University Athletics

Abby Finch, a native Lewis Center, Ohio, joins the George Mason baseball staff for her first year as the Director of Analytics for the 2024 season.  Finch joins the Patriots as a third-year undergraduate student studying statistics.  Before coming to Mason, she held the same title with the University of Charleston (WVa.) baseball team for two seasons.  The Golden Eagles won two conference championships, had two NCAA Regional appearances and two 40-win seasons.  Finch also worked in the MLB Draft League as a Data Coordinator for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers during the 2022 summer using TrackMan, Synergy and Rapsodo.
