2012: Served as the Sunday starter for the Patriots, appearing in 14 games with
13 starts and a 6-5 record ... finished his career at Mason ranked among the
career leaders in wins (12, 22nd), saves (6, 10th),
innings pitched (167.1, 30th), lowest opponent batting average
(.294, 20th), hit batters (21, 7th) and lowest ERA (4.89,
22nd) ... also ranked among single-season leaders during his senior
campaign with 76.2 innings pitched (31st) ... posted a 4.58 ERA with
47 runs (39 earned), 89 hits, 41 strikeouts and 24 walks ... threw his first complete
game on April 15 at Northeastern, allowing just one run while scattering seven hits
with seven strikeouts ... won five-consecutive starts from March 25 to April 21,
all against conference opponents (William and Mary, Georgia State, VCU,
Northeastern and Old Dominion) ... gave up a season-low three hits in four
innings on May 19 at UNCW.
2011: Appeared in 12 games, making 11 starts ... one year after leading the team in saves, led the club in wins, going 4-5 with a 5.35 ERA ... pitched 67.1 innings, second-most on the team, and walked just 12 batters ... led the team with a 1.60 walks-per-nine innings mark ... also led the team with a 2.8 strikeout-to-walk ratio ... opened the season with back-to-back dominant performances ... against Long Island (Feb. 26) went eight innings allowing just four hits and one run ... against Niagara (March 5), allow no earned runs in six innings ... earned wins in both those games ... also was strong in first two conference appearances, allowing one earned run in seven innings at Delaware (March 13) and just two earned runs in seven and one-third innings at William & Mary (March 20) ... also picked up wins in final two appearances of the season, beating Northeastern (May 7) allowing four earned runs in five and two-third innings, and topping Georgia State (May 20) with just three hits allowed in five innings.
2010: Appeared in 20 games in relief compiling a 2-2 record with six saves ... led Mason in saves with six, tied for the third-most in a single season in school history ... held the opposition to a .200 batting average, second-best on the team, surrendering just 17 hits in 23.1 innings with 16 strikeouts ... didn't allow an earned run in first eight appearances ... first collegiate save came against Georgetown (2/28)as did second (3/17) ... also picked up saves against Duquesne (3/19 and 3/21), UNCW (4/2) and Delaware (4/24) ... pitched season-high two innings in that contest against Delaware ... also went two innings against ODU (4/11) and Northeastern (4/18) ... earned first collegiate win in that appearance against Northeastern while also grabbing a win in one inning of work against Delaware (4/23) ... held right-handed hitters to a .177 average and .138 with two outs ... with the bases empty, surrendered just four hits all season.
High School: Earned three letters in baseball playing at Robinson High School ... named first-team Washington Post All-Met as a senior as well as first-team All-District and All-Region ... named District Pitcher of the Year in 2007 ... as a junior, selected first-team All-District, one year after earning second-team All-District honors ... finished high school career with an 18-6 record, second-most wins in school history.
