It's the final blitz week of Mason's Alumni-Athlete Giving Challenge! As our fiscal year ends, all of Mason Nation can get in on the competition to unlock challenge dollars for their favorite Mason team. YOU CAN HELP our 22 teams FINISH STRONG. Â
Dan and Patty Wotring have pledged an additional $2,500 to be allocated to sports that perform well during the final blitz
- $1,000 for the SPORT that brings in the most donors/gifts during blitz weekÂ
- (Friends/Non-Athletes are INCLUDED)
- Friend/Non-Alum gifts will only count in Blitz Week Standings and not in the overall Alumni-Athlete count
- $500 for the SPORTS that finish 2nd & 3rd the most donors/gifts during blitz week
- $500 for the SPORT that brings in the largest gift during that week (June 20-June 30)

ABOUT THE ALUMNI-ATHLETE GIVING CHALLENGE
You are invited to take part in the Alumni-Athlete Giving Challenge. The challenge encourages you to support your sport by donating to Mason Athletics. Alumni-athletes Dan and Patty Wotring have generously sponsored the challenge and donated $5,000 to Mason Athletics to award the sports that meet the following criteria:

$3,000 will be awarded to the sport with the highest percentage of alumni-athlete giving.
$1,000 will be awarded to the sport with the most improved percentage of alumni-athlete giving from the previous fiscal year.
$1,000 will be awarded to the sport with the highest percentage of young alumni-athlete giving. A young alumnus is a graduate of the past five years (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021).
Your support can help enhance not only team success but the overall college experience for student-athletes. No one understands the benefits more than you as an alumni-athlete. This challenge will end on June 30, 2023, so give today and support your sport!
