Baseball Scoreboard Fundraising Initiative
George Mason Athletics has officially begun a fundraising campaign to continue the upgrades to Raymond H. "Hap" Spuhler Field, the home of Mason Baseball, with a new state-of-the-art LED scoreboard to enhance the Spuhler Field functionality and gameday experience. This will serve as a great compliment to the dugout and backstop renovations completed in 2017. The expected installation of the scoreboard will come in the Fall of 2020/Winter 2021.
Project Cost: Estimated at $300,000

The lower portion of the scoreboard displays HOME and GUEST team scores for up to 10 innings, total RUNS and HITS to 99 and ERR (errors) to nine for each team, AT BAT to 99, BALL to three, STRIKE to two, OUT to two and PITCH SPEED to 199. Four-digit TIME clock can display either time of day or time of game.
