2013 Cross Country: Raced in the Spider Alumni Open, placing 52nd in a 5k time of 16:41.8.
2013 Outdoor: Competed in the 5000m, posting a PR of 16:06.38 at the W&M Colonial Relays on April 6.
2013 Indoor: Competed in the 1000m, running a season-best time of 2:44.07 at the Mason Last Chance Meet on February 24.
2012 Cross Country: Appeared in three races for the Patriots ... Posted a season-best time of 26:20.96 in the Blue Ridge Open (10/12).
2012 Outdoor: Did not compete for Mason.
2012 Indoor: Competed in the 1000m, posting a personal-best time of 2:35.09 at the Patriot Games Invitational (1/28).
Prep: Ran cross country and track & field for three years... A state champion in the 4x800-meter relay his junior year... Team captain for two years and received the "most valuable distance athlete" award... Earned a sport on the honor roll every semester... Also recruited by UMBC, Bucknell and Guilford College.
Personal: Son of Neil and Kris McLaughlin... Has three siblings; Tyler, Jamie and Caleb... An economics major and global systems minor.
