2010 Cross Country: Competed
in seven races during the season… Finished as Mason’s second best runner in
four out of those seven meets… Was Mason’s third best finisher in two of the
remaining three races… Best finish came at the Delaware Invitational where she
posted a fifth place finish running the 5k course in a time of 18:53.13… Her
best time on a 5k course came at the ECAC Championships where she finished 31st
overall with a time of 18:35.7… Her best 6k course time was at the Mason
Invitational where she came in 6th place running the race in a time
of 22:14.7… Competed in the Southeast Regional where she was Mason’s third best
finisher, posting a time of 22:35.2.
2010 Outdoor: Made ECAC qualifications in the 5,000 and 10,000-meter runs ... Ran her season-best time in the 5,000 at the Larry Ellis Invitational, clocking in with a 17:12.13 time ... Finished third at the CAA Championships in the 10,000 with a time of 11:00.64 ... Also competed in the 1,500, running a season best of 4:45.66 at the Colonial Relays ... Participated in the 4x1500 meter and distance medley relays at that same meet.
2010 Indoor: Qualified for the ECAC Championships in the 5000-meter run... Crossed the finish line in 16:58.16 in the 5000-meter run at the ECAC Championships... Ran a time of 10:22.69 in the 3000-meter run at the Hokie Invitational.
2009 Cross Country: Ran her fastest time of the season on the 5k course at the Blue and Gold Invitational, finishing the race in 18:59.04... Finished 19th at the CAA Championships with a time of 22:00.94 on the 6k course... Ran a time of 22:23.31 on the 6k course at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships... Also competed at the JMU Invitational, Lou Onesty Invitational and Mason Invitational during the season.
At Lamar: Competed in cross country and track and field at Lamar University during the 2008-09 season.
Prep: Participated and lettered in cross country, soccer and track at McKinney North High School... Member of the All-State and All-District Teams for cross country... Was a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council.
Personal: Parents are Laura and Robert Manning... Has a sister, Katelynn... Majoring in biology.
