2021: Started in 13 games as a senior for the Patriots…Recorded 15 ground balls, seven caused turnovers, and six draw controls…Led the Patriots in draw controls with four against James Madison on March 3…Tabbed at least one ground ball in nine of her appearances...Notched three ground balls in games vs. Radford, Davidson and VCU.

2020: Started six of seven games while helping to anchor of the Patriot defense...Ranked fourth on the team with eight ground balls...Also caused four turnovers on the year...Picked up a ground ball and a caused turnover in the opener against top-ranked Maryland...Registered two ground balls and a caused turnover in the Feb. 15 win over William & Mary...Notched a season-best three ground balls and caused a turnover on Mar. 8 at San Diego State.

2019: Played in 18 games and started 16 games… Recorded one ground ball in Mason’s 16-9 win at Longwood on Feb. 23… Notched career-high two caused turnovers and had one ground ball at Delaware on March 13 (16-8 Blue Hens)… Tallied career-high three ground balls in 9-8 win vs. Richmond on March 22… Scooped up two ground balls in Patriots’ 14-13 victory at Duquesne on April 7… Contributed two ground balls in 15-10 win vs. George Washington on April 14.

2018: Played in five games and made one start...Picked up two ground balls and one caused turnover at Stetson on March 18.

Prep: Sasha Silva earned 10 varsity letters at Annandale High School in Virginia, for cross country, lacrosse, and track… Was a senior captain for her lacrosse team… Was on the All-Conference and All-Region team.
 
Personal: Daughter of Cesar Silva and Nora Canchez-Gonzales… Has on sibling, Alexander… Sasha’s second cousin, Nicholle Clinton, was a member of the Virginia Tech lacrosse team… Sasha was a member of the Spanish, History, and Math Honor Societies… Some of her hobbies include reading, drawing, and running… Plans to major in Government and International Affairs.
