Prep: Lopez played four years of softball in high school and and won the 2012 Delaware State Championship but her athletic adventures began three years earlier with the Delaware Magic club, with whom she played for a total of seven years. Her travel team Delaware Diamonds Gray won fourth place in the 2014 national championship. The freshman was also a key member on the Sussex Technical varsity field hockey team for four years and her defensive performances for the Ravens earned her a spot on the Second Team Northern Division Conference in 2014.

Personal: Mason softball is in Lopez's genes since her mother, Alygia, also played for the Patriots in 1990. Having won first place in a CSI Skills USA competition during high school, Lopez continues her passion for criminal justice in Mason by pursuing a degree in Forensic Science. She also won first place in the "Shoot or Don't Shoot" competition as part of the Delaware State Police Explorers. Other academic achievements for the regular Honor Roll recipient include membership in the National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, and the National Society of High School Scholars
