2016-2017: Starter at 174 pounds his redshirt senior season…Season was cut short due to injury…Went 9-8 with three major decisions and five decisions…1-1 against Eastern Wrestling League opponents…Won a team-high five matches to advance to the quarterfinals at the Navy Classic in Annapolis, Md. on Nov. 19 (15-7 major decision vs. Binghamton, 7-4 decision vs. Bucknell, 9-2 decision vs. Brown, 11-2 major decision vs. Ohio, 9-1 major decision vs. Binghamton)…Competed at 174 pounds against Buffalo and Hofstra at the Grapple at the Garden at Madison Square Garden in New York on Nov. 27…Recorded an 8-3 decision at Lock Haven on Dec. 4…Won a season high three straight matches Dec. 9 to Jan. 6…Registered Mason’s only victory against Maryland with a 6-4 win in sudden victory on Dec. 9…Scored two points with a reversal late in the third period to post a 3-1 decision against then No. 24 Virginia on Dec. 21…Earned a 2-1 decision at Davidson on Jan. 6.
2015-2016: Starter at 165 in his redshirt junior season… Went 14-18 with 4 falls and 10 decisions on the year… Finished 3rd in Lock Haven Tournament… Finished 4th in EWL conference tournament…
2014-15: Started at 165lbs... 13-16 overall record while going 11-9 in duals... Fourth place finish at EWL Championships... 5-4 against conference opponents... 3 major deicisions, one tech fall and two pins during the season.
2013-2014 (with Mason): Joined George Mason in the middle of the season... Redshirted the season... Scored a record of 5-2 in open competition with one major decision and two pins... Second place finish at 174lbs. in the Messiah Open.
2013: Competed in two tournaments in the fall... Went 1-2 at the Binghamton Open and 7-2 at the East Stroudsburg Open, placing seventh.
Prep: Earned four years of varsity letters in soccer, track & field and wrestling along with one varsity letter in one year of golf... Mountaire scholar athlete of the year... DIAA scholar athlete scholarship award winner... Earned 7th place at Beast of the East tournament, 8th at Super 32's, a two-time Delaware state champion... 4.0 GPA... Two-time state wrestling champion and third place state finisher in pole vault.
NC State: Obtained a record of 15-16 before leaving the school due to injury halfway through the season...
Personal: Son of Matt and Christine Davis... Father Matt was a Division II NCAA skiing champion at Utah State... Has a brother named Willie and a sister named Sara... Enjoys skateboarding and playing Xbox... A sport management major.
