Prep: Lettered four years in swimming and three years in track... Was an All-American in two different relays in 2010... Raced the 100 Fly in 51.35, the 50 Free in 21.7 and the 100 Free in 48.6.

Personal: Son of James and Mary Patterson... Has two siblings; Zach (a member of the Virginia Tech diving team) and Hannah... Majoring in civil engineering.
