2013-14: 15th place at Atlantic 10 championships in the 200 butterfly (52.75) and the 400 IM (4:03.84)... Season best 4:48.87 in the 500-yard freestyle... 57.47 was a season low in the 200 IM... Swan 100-yard breastroke once in 59.42... 1650 freestyle once in 17:11.26... Spring 2014 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2012-13: Finished 13^th at the CAA Championships in the 400 IM with a time of 4:01.59 … Posted a season-high time of 10:04.00 in the 1000 Free in the Towson and Boston College tri-meet … Swam a season-high time of 1:55.98 at the Patriot Invitational.

2011-12: Posted season-best times of 16.22:53 in the 1650 Freestyle, 1:55.03 in the 200 IM and 4:02.75 in the 400 IM at the CAA Championships.

2010-11:  Placed 23^rd in the 1650-yard freestyle at the CAA Championships with a season best time of 16:30.66... Also posted season best times of 1:55.56 in the 200-yard IM and 4:03.63 in the 400-yard IM at the CAA Championships... He finished 14^th in the 400-yard IM finals with a time of 4:04.95 at the CAA Championships. 

Prep: Swam for Retriever Aquatic Club for seven years through middle school and high school... Howard County swim meet high point scorer in 2009 and 2010, team MVP both years... Super Sectional qualifier in eight events as junior and senior... Spanish National Honors Society... Also recruited by American University and UMBC. 

Personal: Son of Craig and Cindie... Has one sister, Katie... Cousin Brian Smolinski played ice hockey for Michigan State and later in the NHL for 17 seaons.. Likes to spend time with friends and family and watch and play sports... Business Management major.
