FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason softball team has announced its four-game 2026 fall schedule, with all contests set to take place at the George Mason Softball Complex.

The Patriots will welcome three regional opponents to Fairfax this fall, hosting the James Madison Dukes, Virginia Tech Hokies and Georgetown Hoyas.

George Mason opens its fall slate against James Madison on Sunday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. in a 10-inning contest. The Patriots last faced the Dukes during the 2026 season, earning a 5-3 victory. The win marked Mason's first victory over James Madison since March 27, 2010.

The Patriots will then host Virginia Tech for a doubleheader on Saturday, Oct. 24. The two seven-inning contests are scheduled for 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The teams have met just once previously, with their lone meeting coming in March 2020.

George Mason will close out its fall schedule against Georgetown on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 12 p.m. in a 10-inning contest. The Patriots faced the Hoyas during the 2026 season, earning a 3-1 victory.
