Fredericksburg, Va. - The George Mason men's tennis team continues its tournament play for the fall 2026 season at the Mary Washington Fall Kickoff Classic this weekend.

The Mary Washington Fall Kickoff Classic will be held at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia, from Saturday, September 19, to Sunday, September 20. 

Last Time Out
The Patriots competed in the Joe Hunt Invitational at the US Naval Academy last weekend. Some notable matches included Shari Saeed going 2-1 in his singles matches, with both victories being two-set wins over Cole Langer from Johns Hopkins and Finn Logue from Illinois State.

Ekansh Kumar was paired with Edgar Vilain for the doubles matches, and the two went an impressive 3-0 in their competition, picking up wins over Vicente Paniagua and Benediktas Verkovskis from Saint Bonaventure, Mukundh Boopathi and Chakor Rajendra from Johns Hopkins, and Jack Riordan and Ryan Gipner from Mary Washington. Egor Zackarov and Adria Franco were also paired together and went 3-0 on the weekend as well against Dilraj Dhillon and Daniel Strandberg from Saint Bonaventure, Allan Xu and Lixing Jiang from Johns Hopkins, and Ryan Battaglia and Evan Fisher from Mary Washington.
