FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason women's lacrosse has added graduate student Olivia Johnson to its roster for the 2027 season, Head Coach Kara Mupo announced. Johnson joins the Patriots after three seasons at Dominican University of California.
"We are excited to welcome Olivia to Mason Nation!" said Coach Mupo. "Her leadership on and off the field, as well as her dominance at the draw, will be pivotal for our program this upcoming season!"
The Issaquah, Wash., native arrives as one of the top players in Dominican history. A two-time First-Team All-MEC selection, Johnson finished her career as the program's all-time leader in draw controls (215) and ground balls (78), while ranking among the program's top three in goals, assists and points.
In 2026, Johnson earned Second-Team CSC Academic All-America and CSC Academic All-District honors after setting the program's single-season record with 103 draw controls. She totaled 15 goals, nine assists, 24 ground balls and 21 caused turnovers in 13 starts.
Prior to Dominican, Johnson was an All-American, all-state and all-conference selection at Issaquah High School, where she was also named team MVP and served as team captain.
