George Mason women's soccer opens the 2026-27 season this week with a pair of matches against in-state opponents. The Patriots begin the campaign at home Thursday night, hosting VMI at George Mason Stadium, before traveling to Harrisonburg on Sunday for a 7 p.m. match-up against James Madison. The meeting with the Dukes renews an old CAA rivalry and gives Mason an early opportunity to test itself against a familiar Virginia opponent as the Patriots begin the new season.
