FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason men's tennis program was recognized for its academic excellence by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), earning 2026 All-Academic Team honors while four Patriots were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.

Nicholas Novitski and
Shari Saeed each earned ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition for their achievements in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year.
Across Division I men's tennis, 1,083 student-athletes received ITA Scholar-Athlete honors in 2026, while 159 programs earned ITA All-Academic Team recognition.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must earn at least a 3.5 grade-point average during the academic year. Programs earn ITA All-Academic Team status by maintaining a cumulative team GPA of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
