ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The George Mason track & field teams will be competing at the Navy National Elite this Friday, May 8 at Ingram Field. The Patriots will be facing athletes from Navy, Maryland, William & Mary, and Loyola (Md.).

LAST TIME OUT
The George Mason track & field teams delivered a strong performance at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held May 2–3, earning 16 total medals: seven gold, four silver, and five bronze.
Abby Weening was named the Most Outstanding Women's Field Performer after winning gold medals and setting new meet records in both the heptathlon and high jump. Jordan Edwards earned Most Outstanding Men's Track Performer honors after capturing three medals — bronze in the 100m, silver in the 4x100m relay, and gold in the 200m.
Ella Semple also made history, breaking the meet record in the women's 5000m by 13 seconds.
